How It All Began
When Tim Whisted walked into the abandoned warehouse on Key Highway in 1996 he had a vision of what it could become. The former Feed Supply warehouse had sat empty on this stretch of Key Highway for many years but it would be transformed into the Cuban themed restaurant that Tim had dreamed of since his time in the Florida Keys.
Opening it’s doors on March 5th, 1997 Little Havana quickly became known for it’s vintage style decor, fantastic water view and comfortable atmosphere.
How It All Continues
Over 20 years after opening Little Havana has become a landmark in South Baltimore.
As the neighborhood has seen expansive growth and the addition of the Under Armour corporate headquarters down the road – Little Havana has constantly evolved and grown. Serving Dinner and Lunch 7 nights a week year round, with Brunch on the weekends.
It has become a favorite spot for parties and events and expanded it’s services to include full service off premise Catering.
Popular with families in the neighborhood as well as the boating crowd Little Havana continues to be an important part of the fabric of Federal Hill and the surrounding neighborhoods.
